Foot Locker launches an exclusive capsule collection designed by its new Global Creative Director of women’s business, Melody Ehsani, where consumers are invited to feel good in their own skin.

Born and raised in Los Angeles in a traditional Persian family, Melody applied to go to Law School after college. However, soon after she decided to follow her heart in a field that she was internally drawn to - design. Melody believes design is part of what she was designed to do and wants to help bring new patterns of behaviour and equality for herself and for all women in the future. Her style is inspired by paradox, controversy, justice and pushing the envelope.
Melody is also the visionary and entrepreneur behind ME. – a streetwear brand specializing in jewellery, footwear and clothing with a message that has changed the landscape of accessible womenswear. Her background in streetwear and love of basketball gives her all the tools she needs to design and create inspiring apparel. A portion from each ME. item purchased goes to the advancement and education of women.
For her first collection with Foot Locker, Melody drew inspiration from thermal patterns to reflect our response to the environment around us. This is highlighted by her use of colors inspired by nature and temperature. She also wanted to represent the connection between people, even at a global level. One of those great connectors is sports, so she leaned on her love of basketball to design a collection of court-inspired apparel and accessories.
